Things to Do in Las Vegas: Where to Have an Out-of-This-World Sci-Fi Experience and Themed Drinks

Where to Have an Out-of-This World Sci-Fi Experience Are you looking for an out-of-this world experience that will satisfy your cravings to get together with friends and enjoy fantastic science fiction? You’re in luck, because Vegas has a ton of sci-fi themed experiences to choose from. However, one of the most sci-fi of its collection has to be its virtual reality and augmented reality experiences. What are these? Essentially, you can expect you and your friends to don equipment that allow you to explore and interact with an immersive digital reality, like a video game that you can physically walk through. Most places that offer these experience have multiple themed realities to choose from, from zombie apocalypses to Star Wars, depending on where you’re going. We recommend going to the MGM Grand’s Level UP gaming bar to try their virtual reality powered by Zero Latency. Zero Latency is a global franchise that has locations in over 20 countries, so you can expect that they know how to do VR. Zero Latency’s 2,000 foot arena at the MGM Grand allows you and up to 7 friends to explore an interactive universe and overcome some heart-racing challenges. You have a few games to pick from, and they consist of Zombie Survival, Singularity, Engineerium, and Outbreak Origins. As a part of Level UP, this arena is also close to a host of other gaming attractions that you might want to check out. If you are a fan of Star Wars or Marvel’s The Avengers, The Void at Grand Canal Shoppes in Las Vegas offers adventures from these franchises in a virtual reality format. Their gaming experiences allow you to fight obstacles with your favorite characters from beloved stories, including Star Wars, Avengers, Jumanji, Ghostbusters, Wreck-It-Ralph, and more. If you are a fan of video games or are just looking to try something new and exciting, we encourage you to check this out! Where to Get Themed Drinks After The great thing about The Void at Grand Canal Shoppes and Zero Latency at MGM Grand is that they are a short walk/drive away from Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood is home to the Tipsy Robot, where you can get sci-fi themed drinks crafted right before your eyes by a robot. The bar might seem a little empty depending on when you show up, and part of that could be because the bar is tended by two robots instead of humans (although a human is there to check your ID). Above the bar is a screen that displays the queue of orders so you know when you’re next. Their tasty drinks have cute sci-fi themed names, including Darth Vader and Binary Berry, just to name a couple. What a better way to cap off your day playing VR with some friends!
